Vaginitis

Published by admin

Vaginitis is inflammation of the vagina that can result in itching and burning. It is usually caused by an imbalance of vaginal bacteria or a vaginal infection. A reduction in estrogen levels after menopause can also cause vaginitis. The most common types of vaginitis are bacterial vaginosis, yeast infection, and trichomoniasis. Most women will have vaginitis at least once in their lives.
